Hi all, I have just been offered an early part built kit, up to kit 8 assembled, 9 to 11 still in box. Is there an information site that brings together the many faults and problems that are known for this model? Also has anyone a set of the drawings by Perrier/Norman Spink that they would be willing to part with for some beer tokens? thanks, john

Hi John Try reading John's (another John) build of his own loco, he's a member of the North London SME, I've seen his loco in action and can say that it runs very well, he's also a member of this forum ID is jj, I'm sure that he would answer any questions that you may have. John's website: www.britanniabuilder.com/regards Pete

Hi John Note that my website describes the Modelworks version - yours may be the earlier Winson version. They are very similar, but the problems will be different and the sequence of the 18 kits is different. If you only have 11 out of 18 kits there will be a lot to make from scratch, including presumably the boiler. I'll be happy to help if you do go ahead. Here's a video of a lap of the North London track, just to show that it works: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzbj-n3_ObYRegards, John

Hi John, I'm also building a Britannia "Boadicea' from a part set of Winson castings and back Pete's comment that JJ's site is a great reference point and a 'must not miss' for anyone building a Britannia. You may have already seen my blog on this site under 70036 Boadicea modeleng.proboards.com/thread/6349/70036-boadicea?page=1. If I can be of any help please PM me. Jim
