Although I'm only a very junior member (rank, not age ) of the IWMES, I'd like to thank all those visitors from afar who turned up for our rally earlier today and it was nice to put some faces to the names. It was a pleasure to chat with you all, and see your locomotives (or in Rogers case, bits of) my personal favourite being the 9F. Not surprising, really, since my Brit shares the same tender.

What a fantastic day out that was! Thanks to Roger, JtP, Dan and Co for making it all happen. I think Eddie was happy that his 9F running ok on the track. First time that an engine that size has ran on that track. My L1 (Maid of Kent) worked well.
Added bonus was being able to put faces to proboard member names!
The Basingstoke visitor days are Sunday 15th May and Sunday 13th Sept, your welcome to come and play on the Basingstoke track, just drop me a message. I'm a dual member of the IWMES and Basingstoke MES.
