Just a reminder that the annual Dreaming Spires Rally for 2016 will be held at our track in Cutteslowe Park, Oxford next weekend, 22nd, 23rd and 24th July, please see details on our website, www.cosme.org.uk, or from me on 07850 062 932. Plenty of space for caravans, camping etc but a small charge will be made to help towards hire of the field. Denis M |

David, it was a good weekend, a bit down on visitor numbers but still 20 loco's all of who had plenty of track time.

It just got better and better in a roundabout way? Do not mention the roundabout just outside the park!!!
16 months they have been at it and we get in the wrong lane and I have relatives in OX1!!!
We even stayed for the fish and chip supper and as the very hot sun eventually started to set?
The night running began. We got behind an original 1400 class which ran superbly. Wrestled out of the worst drawings
on the planet? Yes, I met the designer!!
That's Hall folks?
Never, a 5 inch Hall arrived in the darkness, got prepared and about 12.30 retired. 12.30 AM!!! what an event.

David/Midland, It was a good event, not so busy but everyone had plenty of track time, the weather was perfect, the ladies served up great food and cakes and the beer went down well, here's to next year. You would be welcomed on a running day but would need a spark arrester and safety chains, our secretary can fill you in. Running dates can be found on our website www.cosme.org.uk and we are also open Wednesday afternoons during August. David/DScott, Glad you enjoyed your day with us and are welcome anytime. The 1400 loco was one of many built by my late, much missed, father-in-law and we sold it a couple of years ago but recently bought it back as it did not run. Regards Denis |
