I agree that the price seems a trifle high, given that there are only a few basic parts. It could hardly be described as "a part built train" (where, for example, are the carriages ?). Seriously though, I am always suspicious when I see that the seller knows it's - for example - a B1 but can't describe what he/she is selling. Often, the "blurb" says something like "I have no knowledge of these things". In that case, ask someone who has. Don't use it as an excuse to sell "Charlie Romeo Alpha Papa".

Given that the tender is the boring bit, although it is not clear how much of it is completed, perhaps it is worth a go at the right price - your money, not mine, and no more than 300 quid. At least it includes 2 shovels - presumably so you can bury it when you find it's no good. ;D Regards, Tony.

I wouldnt call it "part built". A tender plus a box of bits would be more accurate.
Certainly not worth the price quoted.

It is not often that bad spelling really gets in the way of understanding. However Chubs (chubes) had me stumped, but then it is almost perfect if you call a tube a choob!!

Giving the seller the benefit of the doubt, he/she claims to be selling ex-engineer dad's stuff (see other items, vernier caliper). Suppose they could have picked up sketchy info off dad.....I don't suppose my family would be able to describe half of what I own properly. (I'd hope their grasp of English would be better, though). The price is way too high obviously.
Have a look at the sawing machine for sale by the same user....just the thing for cutting your next set of frames.
