Our model engineering society organizes their annuell Model Engineering Exhibition at Loon op Zand in the Netherlands on Sunday 18th March 2018. Although on the continent, we do have visitors of the UK (Rotterdam - Loon op Zand (just a few miles from Tilburg in the south of the Netherlands)is only a 1,5 hours drive; all Motorway) In the Netherlands this is the biggest show were almost all the Dutch, some Belgian and a few German societies will attend. Erik-Jan - thanks for your exhibition announcement.
I'm a bit too far to make it, but now that I know...
I enjoyed the pictures, and the videos. I've got drawings and wheels for the 3-1/2" DB23, which is slowly bubbling to the top of the "to do" pile, so it was nice to see one completed and on a stand at the show.
I lived in The Hague for a few years 20+ years ago, and was always amazed at the attention to detail the model builders took, and the friendship and openness of the club members.

Hi Erik, thanks for sharing. Do you know by chance Sigurd Wollburg? He’s from Hellevoetsluis which is not that far from Loon op Zand I think. He once visited our club and I had a nice talk with him. He showed me photos of his 7.25 locomotive. I still keep some contact with him through FB. I’m just curious.
