Steering chain

Hi
Does anyone know where I can buy some steering chain for my Durham & North Yorkshire engine in 2 in scale. I have tried Blackgates, and they said they have tried to find some, and have had no luck. All they can find is the unwelded link chain. Can anyone help me please.

Hi Garry,

Sorry for the lack of responses to your question but regardless of the topic most of us now post in the 'General Chat' section as these special interest sections seem to get bypassed.

I'm not sure if it's any help but I used a small link chain that I found in a hardware shop for the steering chains on my 3" Burrell. It might pay to have a look around garden centres too where they may stock the small link chain used to hang garden pots for example
