New member saying hello.
I have always wanted a garden railway and now have a paddock with the new house 25m by 60m.
Unsure as to wether a ground level 7.25 or a raised level 5 inch track would be the best option to suit the space, also the radius required for each size. I am thinking of a small tank engine rather than a large one.
Would be nice to make contact with a fellow enthusiast in the Bude area.
Thank you
Joe.

Hi Joe and welcome, as you say making contact with enthusiasts in the area is probably a good starting point. I am sure there are a few not too far away, in Exeter there is the edmes.org.uk and I understand there was one in St Teath which I believe was ground level 5" gauge. Good luck with any projects you do decide on. Regards Paul

Welcome to the forum, you can find the answer to almost everything here and a dozen different opinions too!!
You might like to try the GL5 site or Main Line Ground Level 5" group as they are called to see what a 5" does at ground level. Cheers David
