Jon I made the miniature fittings for the Brit using the designs of Roy Amsbury. I did a thread on them. Might be useful. I will have a look, thank you. The safeties I am making are to the Gordon Smith design. I used the Gordon Smith BR Safety design for my safety valves and they work well.   |

Mine wont be anywhere near as artistic as that (I love the dummy bolts!) but I think they will be close.

How strange...nothing for me either, I guess it may be down to which broswer you use. For info, I use Chrome and it doesn't work

I've just tried posting a link to a photo from my own Google Drive and that doesn't work either. I can open the image using the link in a web page.

Today I started work on the ball valve regulator shaft extension. The standard ball valve I am using has a 90 degree tap handle on it with a simple driving dog arrangement, retained by an M4 screw. I've made a long hollow rod that engages with the dog (with the tap handle removed) which will have a long screw down the centre to hold it on to the valve spindle. To withdraw the boiler from the smokebox you undo the bolt and pull the shaft to disengage it. The only thing I don't like is the long screw I'm using is off the shelf and is an allen head which won't look right cosmetically. Some careful disguising is in order...

Superheaters installed and connected up. Only problem is I forgot to add the pipe to the snifting valve.... back out they come...
