Apologies fro short notice, but on Talking Pictures TV tomorrow at 12.00 a short 5min films of the shed in the early 60's. There is also one about London Trolleybuses later in the week

The first organised shed visit I went on was to Nine Elms with the school railway society in 1966. Prior to that, I had bunked a few sheds (Northampton, New England...) with my cousin, but I remember how much better it felt at Nine Elms because we weren't terrified of being given a b*ll*c*ing and getting thrown out. There were even a few Bulleid Pacifics there that had been cleaned!
Seems like yesterday...

Oh yes!
And constant harassment by the licencing authority if you don't have a TV and therefore don't have a licence - they just won't believe you but don't have the staff to come out and see for themselves....
