Alan, I guess you must just decide where you are going to put your personal pictures and also your model engineering ones. Personally, I only have model engineering pictures on Flickr, so no issue. Geoff, You can post videos on Flickr. Thanks Alan, I have tried posting a video to Flickr but have not had any success doing so. Is there a size limit for the vdeo? I cut it down to 30 seconds but still no good. I see you're building Lorna Doone ..... I would love to build one of those! Hello there It's stevep who's building Lorna Doone----------I'm building a 5" gauge model of the first 4-6-2 in Britain ie}--The GWR Great Bear....Have a look at my current thread

Geoff,
I just looked at Flickr, and it says video streaming is currently unavailable. Not very helpful.
Re. Lorna Doone - had it on the go for years, but haven't done much at all (too many other projects, including the 400 year old thatched cottage and lots of land and hedges to maintain). I spent a long time re-doing the drawings in CAD, and then 'assembling' the engine from all the component parts. It turned out that some of the holes don't line up! (There's a surprise).

Very nice Geoff. Will you be running her on sunday? I'll perhaps just steam up but I think its premature to pull passengers.

Hi Matey !!

Pull a freight train instead !!........A couple of paving slabs on a passenger truck will give you a realistic load that doesn't ask "Questions" !!!

Good idea, but I'm more concerned about holding up traffic on a busy run day.

ok----------- so go down to the track with a few helpers on a non-running day....Have a prior chat with your club Secretary about what you want to do, I'm sure he'll prove to be helpful....
1st "Golden Rule" of any ME work is}---- Do all your testing in private !!........Sod's law says that if anything is going to go wrong you don't want it to happen in a High Profile situation, eh ?? ( ie in front of your "Adoring" Public )..LoL !!
