I am new to model making having got my Sherline lathe and mill 6 months ago. I have made a PM Research #7 twin cylinder engine and am in the middle of making n Echuca single cylinder vertical engine with reversing setup.
and loving it!

Welcome mate, lots of stationary engine folk on here, infact there has been a bit of a revival of late!
Any chance of some photos of your engines?

Welcome to the forum sir...model engineering comes in many forms which we all enjoy no matter which particular subject matter we may currently be building...
I'm sure you'll find members here who have built something similar to yours if any questions arise..
