Greetings Andy, I have used these a lot, both on locos & rolling stock I was told that the plastic had some "grippy" material included in ts formulation. In practice they work well and are long lasting. regards Brian

They are glass filled, all my wagons use them. They work fine and I've never had a problem with them. I was advised that they may need a little care when running in the wet. But who runs when it's that wet?

The Brakes on your Locomotive are for use in the Steaming bays and to look nice!!! As Churchward stated "The trains brakes stop the locomotive!!" As our trolleys do with the brake handle on the LEFT as our handbrakes are in our cars!!!

Gee! All these years I've been building my loco I thought I was building a model of a British loco, and now I find out it must be foreign 'cos it's L/H drive!!
