I am building (or trying to build!) a “Denny Improved Ericsson Engine” from plans supplied by Polly Model Engineering. They state that the construction was serialised in “Engineering In Miniature” between June 2006 and March 2007. I had hoped to be able to simply make the component parts and then work out the final assembly. Unfortunately I have encountered a number of queries that the drawings fail to answer. I am reluctant to step on the slippery slope of modifying anything as I am sure that any error must be in my understanding of the drawings.
Does anybody have copies of “Engineering In Miniature” June 2006 to March 2007 inclusive that they would be willing to share? I only require the construction article for this engine, not the entire magazines so photocopies or scans would be ideal. I’d be happy to pay - I don’t know if there is any “going rate” but I thought that around two pounds per monthly instalment might be about right.
