Hi,
My name is Tim. I have been a model engineer for about 30 years. I am currently finishing off a 3 1/2" Rainhill before setting forth on a 3 1/2" 4 cylinder King to the Jackson / Clarkson design. I live on the sunny Isle of Wight. The Rainhill was a 'quickie' started over 10 years ago - life intervened!!

Thanks Steve, it was good to chat. I have found the metals site you mentioned, I now need to work out what sizes I need. Luckily the design calls for the two thicknesses they can supply! Still I won't be getting to the boiler for a couple of years at least.
