Just added a post to What I've been doing Today:
Finished the tramming head, total cost £14 (with a little less material in stock now)
Now I need to test it out!

Well, tested the tramming head today and am very pleased.
It is so easy to use and very quick because you can see what is happening with every nudge. I will make the other screw adjuster because when I was moving the head anti-clockwise by using the fitted 'stop' I could literally turn the allen key to get the dial gauge where I wanted - the 'rate' of the screw was perfect. Got it within 0.5 thou over 10 inches (in less than 2 minutes) which will be better than the table itself I suspect. It started 3 thou out over the 10" which is what I managed using a single DTI.

I use the same method as Roger, I would add that I don't have the DTI pointer touching the table, I use a slip gauge (size doesn't matter) on the table so you can rotate it 180 degrees without disturbing the DTI on the tee slots and then slide the slip gauge under the DTI again.
