When College Engineering was under its previous ownership, Howard used to produce an unslotted webbed angle plate casting about 3" x 3" x5". It isn't in the current list of available angle plates and all the ones they do show are too small.
Does anyone have an unmachined 3" x3" x5" casting lurking about that they don't want?
I know I could probably get a used angle plate cheap enough off ebay, but for what I want it for, I don't need the slots in it

Hi,
Have a look at Hemingway Kits - they appear to have what you need.
Best Regards

Unfortunately, even their largest one is a bit too small for what I need. Thanks for the information though

Maybe not ideal but a section of thick-wall steel angle 'iron' or hollow square tube with rmachined faces might meet your needs
