Hi All
Ive just been told that Norman Spink has died and that his business has been taken over by Blackgates. Has any one else heard this?

Hi Andy, and others,
IP knows something about Norman's untimely passing, as I have read something of his (IP's) on a Google search. Must have been a week or more ago. I guess someone will do a write-up in the Model Engineer?

Gents,
A mate of mine rang Norman a week, maybe ten days ago, his wife answered the phone and when my asked for Norman was told he'd passed away.
Norman's wife told my mate that the business was going to Blackgates, least that's how my mate related it to me.
Sorry to see Norman go he was okay and very trusting too. condolences extended to his family.

Hi Guys,
In case you missed it, there is a small write-up on the late Norman Spink on page 729 of the Dec 24th edition of ME. I regret that I never knew him personally.
