Just relocated to Bude area and would like to meet up with any members with an interest in traction engines. please.

There were a couple of clubs in the north of Cornwall but may have closed down, I think that there may be a few model engineers around Barnstable and South Molton

There is a club near Perranporth I think called St Teath, it is a ground level track.
I am a member of Tiverton model engineers who operate all year round from a site on Exmoor near South Molton. It's a lovely club, but I might be a bit biased!.

Both Tiverton and Perranporth are a tad too far for me to drive as disabled.

I had been hoping to make contact with some members in the Bude and / or Holsworthy area but no luck so far.

Thanks millman. I am told  there was a North Cornwall Club based in Week St Mary where there was a raised track but it seems the owner of the bungalow and land withdrew the facility.

I think I will just be doing my own think but fortunately I do have a large field I can use.

I am a member of the North Cornwall MES. There are a few members in the Bude area with 4" scale traction engines who attend the local rallies etc.

Also there clubs meetings held at Egloskerry generally once a month. Would you like the date of the next meeting as I'm sure you would be most welcome?
