I'm working on 9F and the lubricator instructions are causing me some confusion.
The manual had no diagram for how pieces were supposed to be fit together. I think I have the correct alignment but, it does not seem like oil would flow in the system as it is.
My question: Is there a diagram of how to put the lubricator together?
I have other ?? and will return for more, thanks in advance to anyone with info. Steve Myers

Steve - this has ended up in the "Road Steam" "General Chat" section, not the general "General Chat" section. Maybe a kind moderator could move it for you? This forum has a lot of "General Chat" sections under a range of headings!

Is it one of the common box shaped lubricators, they type where the pump resembles an oscillating steam engine?
What about it makes you think it won't work? Maybe you could show us a photo?

I have a 9F, no. 030 which has been running successfully for a few years. I basically scraped the lubrication plumbing system, and found it necessary to fit a 2nd lubricator. One lubricator into two cylinders does not guarantee both are receiving oil. I copied the original design, but increased the plunger size to 3mm or so (can't remember).
It is a an eccentric driven plunger type lubricator, with a single needle roller clutch drive. Two recessed collar with '0' rings fitted around the shaft, are pushed up against the outside of the tank and secured, sealing the shaft and providing the friction necessary to not need the 2nd clutch.
I also fitted home made non return valves on the oil supply and I pushed the loco in its cradle yesterday and the cylinders are still free - not run for a year now.
Hope this helps.
