I'm Steve Myers, live in US (Connecticut), retired from nuclear power plant operations.

Started working on a 9F that had been purchased in 2000 and was complete up to all frame sections being done. I've been working part time on it for several years and this year with covid have spent much more time and effort.

I have an engineering background but, am out matched by some of the problems with the kit. Luckily, I have a nefew who welds and has provided technical assistance.

I am presently on kit #12 installing the smoke box and associated parts.

Welcome Steve, sounds like you're well on the way with the 9F. I'm sure any questions you have will be answered here, preferable if you can upload some photos to better explain your questions, there's a good 'how to' guide at the beginning of the 'General' section.
