Hello,

Having recently retired I decided to follow my Grandson into the world of miniature steam who owns an Achilles 5" locomotive, and purchase a Simplex 5" loco. The locomotive has been on display for a few years but has run at club level on a couple of occasions. The loco is due for an overhaul shortly to get her back to running at a local club in the Summer subject to gaining a boiler ticket.   

I have been trying to source the Martin Evans 060 tank book which is out of print with little success. Does anyone own this in electronic format and would consider emailing me a copy?

welcome, i think the Simplex design is a fine locomotive, and you will be pleased with it when it is running.
you have done the right thing by making contact with your local ME club.
As far as the Simplex book is concerned, they are rarer than hens Teeth, and most people who have a copy hang on to it, although they do come up on Ebay.
I don't know of anyone with an electronic copy.
