Hey Baggo I see that Helen is green now on your avatar, have you decided to paint her green then? I'd be interested to see any pictures of her with clothes on! Cheers Brian

Hi Brian,
Well spotted! ;D
Yes, I've more or less decided on green, actually Southern dark olive green with black and white lining. I was looking through the archives on Station Road Steam a couple of days ago for some inspiration and came across some photos of a King Arthur painted in those colours. I thought it looked rather smart and would suit Helen quite well. After all, I think Remembrance and the other LBSCR Baltic tanks were painted green after they were taken over by the Southern so I won't be too far away with the colour.
I haven't started the painting yet (still plucking up the courage!) and I want to have another couple of runs before shopping her. The rally season starts in May and I hope to have her completed by then. I'll put up some photos then.
All being well and it's not too far to travel I might enter her in the Curly Bowl this year. I think she'd raise a few eyebrows!

Just spent an hour drawing all the spokes and adding them to the full size outline drawing

I've created an 'improved' version with 'proper' wheels and 'bongo/baggo' plates.
