Retired six years from machine tool design, mainly special purpose drilling machines heavy on work holding fixtures and automatic processes. Use Fusion 360 and Inventor for creating working drawings. Always been a keen diy’er but kept off a metal machine shop until retirement, now just a mill and small lathe. Been building a 3 1/2” Evening Star and now added a 5” Super Simplex to the mix, both being built mainly from solid. Not joined any steaming clubs as yet but will do when I have something to show.
