After some original works drawings of this gear. I assumed the NRM would be the first port of call. I'm not clear how the search works as all I end up with is a alphabetical list of drawings by number which seems a tad user unfriendly. So some advice on how you search would be helpfull or any other suggestions before I fail at the first post.
Thanks Jim

Hi Jim The only drawing that I have to hand is for the 1:1 lever, the NRM used to show examples on their web and this is one of them, I thought that I had the 2:1 too but can't find it. I can say that Don Young's 'Doncaster' drawings are pretty much there in detail other t5han Don didn't fit a sealed bearing for the pivot point. Here's the 1:1 drawing Here's Don's drawings Here's a full-size photo And here's mine to Don's drawings with the added ball race bearings to 2:1 and 1:1 pivot points There are a number of photos of the conjugated gear from the Sir Nigel Gresley overhaul online, I can post what I have here if this is helps. Alas, I gave up trying to work through the NRM listing, life's too short... Regards Pete

Don't you have to marry your valve gear once you've conjugated it??? Merry Christmas! John

Surely, with the Gresley arrangement, it is a menage a trois....
Merry Christmas all!
