This may be a bit of a strange one…I’m trying to create a steam regulator handle to print in order to act as a lever on the end of a potentiometer, but my CAD-fu to get the basic shape right is seriously lacking! It’s easy to make a basic cylindrical ‘handle’ but I’m really struggling to profile it in order to make it look more realistic.. Is anyone able to come up with something? It’s for a 5” loco and the pot had a 6mm diameter shaft, to give an idea of the scale.
Edit: On second thoughts, I think it might make more sense to knock something up in metal - none of the design problems and I can change the design a bit! Darren
