A hand drill set from LIDL- £7.99- an absolute bargain because you get a neat vice, a pin chuck, and more importantly two sets of what appear to be good quality small drills. I put the 1mm and 2mm drills through some gauge plate at 6000 rpm and 3000 rpm respectively, without coolant, and the points are still brill! The jaw lift was horrendous until I filed a bit off the bottom stub ...  Recommended.  |

Here, they come out on Sundays and Thursdays, roughly 50:50. Anyway, I got my pack of drills on Sunday! Interestingly, In our local store I've not seen the full 'hand drill set' that SimplyLoco mentioned. Only the 10-packs of 'micro drills.' The full set is obviously a much better bargain. Gary |

Hi all, Geoff here. I went to Lidl this afternoon and there wasn't any and the shop assistant said to try on Sunday as today is all cleaning materials.
