Hi all, can someone please suggest where I can buy a "mini bender" for 5/32 OD copper pipe to give accurate bends? I have one for 1/8 OD pipe which is made in brass and consists of a hollow brass tube soldered to a mandrel. These crop up in Worthpoint and show a set of different OD size benders, but web searches have so far drawn a blank on the maker's contact details. Thanks

The one in GWRFAN's link is the exact make and model I have. It works well. Sometimes a drop of oil on the tube helps for a nice clean bend (as well as proper annealing of course!).

I made my own version of a design that John (simplyloco) made. It works well, but all pipe benders suffer from the same issue, ie getting multiple bends close together and also near the ends. I still use mine, but honestly I think you can just make some round formers with the desired radii and use them in the vice with one either side of the tube then bend it with your fingers. Annealed copper pipe is incredibly soft and easy to bend.

There was an article in EiM on the subject, comparing different tools, which I found useful. Have sent PM with URL to article in my webspace - presume copyright, so let me know when you have it.
