Couple weeks ago I bought castings / plans / frames attempted / wheels cleaned up , must have been sitting in the workshop over 20 years , plenty of rust but no pitting . I have dismantled the frame & cleaned them , complete missing details , painted and reassembled . I had an encounter with angel of death Yesterday , I got up in the morning , short of breath and zero energy , I thought my number is up , I was taken to the hospital ( ambulance was here in less than 10 minutes , I spent 16 hours there , all tests were negative , false alarm LOL . I think the angel of death had my name by mistake LOL , I am still here , lucky ha . If angel of death leave alone I can start on Speedy after I finish Rainhill which is halve done .

Good to hear that you are ok Shawki and you still have a couple of models to keep you occupied. What would we do without this great hobby?
Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Likewise Shawki, look after yourself, but keep on building!
All the best,

Hello Shawki, You appear to have linked to your Z17 - Rainhill is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n_EwcqJO5gBoth great pieces of engineering and excellent to see a small loco like Rainhill running. I guess that you re-scaled it up to 5" gauge yourself. Regards, Phil

Very nice Shawki, looks like the boiler is a decent steam producer. Hope you get a good number of years enjoyment driving it.
Regards,
Dan
