7 hours in to what I'm being told is a 45hr print job... <gulp>
I wanted to try test-printing a 7 1/4" gauge cylinder chest
3/4 of the way in, I ran out of filament… This gave me a chance to try Crealities filament run-out sensor and I have to say it's great.
The printer paused and gave me a continue option on the printer display, in spite of the fact that I was printing from Crealities slicer on the laptop. I left it paused for 24hr while the new spool to arrive. Once it did, I pulled out the last little piece of filament from the hot head, loaded the new filament and confirmed the continue on the display. The head moved back to the work and continued. 10h left!
