I mentioned on ME that the CNC tends to make less mess than the manual mill so took these couple of photos at the weekend. 142mm dia flywheel carved from a slice of cast iron bar, I had the air going all the time to just clear the swarf ahead of the cutter and also use the blow gun a couple of times when changing tools and flipping the job over. Just about all swarf is contained in the "trough" with a very small amount escaping to the bench next to the machine.
