In our digital drawing archive at work, I have discovered a set of drawing scans for 'No.339 Brighton 'K' Class Mogul - 5 Inch Gauge', by Les Warnett dated 1981. I haven't been able to find much online about Les' designs (the 9F being most discussed, followed by 'Lew') or about Les himself, and only one mention of the Mogul which said that the drawings were never published.
I have no intention of ever building such a loco, but would be happy to pass on a copy of the scans to anyone who would be interested, provided it is not infringing anyone's commercial rights, etc.
Can anyone fill in any info about Les or ownership of his designs?
If you're interested in a set of scans please message me,
Sorry, I can't post a picture as I don't have an online resource to link from.
So at least one has been completed, although it may be to someone else's drawings of course. The tender appears slightly different to that on the Mid-Sussex Model Engineers' site that you linked to with different 'coal-rails' for example.

If you have a look at the descriptive commentary to this video on youtube it infers that the Les Warnett drawings for the 'K' Class were publicly available. See also the comment and response below the video.
I can't remember if I read it or heard it (or made it up!) but I believe Les Warnett was in either the design or drawing office at Brighton works. looks a lovely engine.
