Im looking for some long handled floor mounted screwdown water valves, 5/16 x 32 tpi, i cant find any, does anyone know where i can get some please?

I think you might be struggling to get screw down valves in this type. If they are for injector water valves then you are probably better with the 90° turn type. The last lot I got were from Reeves but Kennions sell them as well.

George, presume you have a reason for wanting them. I have 4 90 deg types - all work fine. Need lubricating, or they seize up over the winter. Just rotating them every 2 months works too. There are globe valves though here

For my sweet pea with side tanks I made some screw down valves. Just a threaded body that screws into a bush in the tank with a union on the bottom, the top has an internal thread for the actuator and the water enters by a ring of holes just above the seat. The actuators are 1/4" stainless steel, threaded with a taper on the end, the top of the actuator emerges through the top of the tank and had a mushroom shaped head, like a dummy vent

Thanks for the replies, one of them is for the injector water feed and the other is for the bypass, i just prefer the screw down type as you can fine tune them to the needs of the boiler.
