Hello all and greetings from Indiana. I recently purchased a beautiful chassis and boiler that is 2.5” gauge and has “Harting Eng Co” stamped on the leading truck frame. The locomotive is a 2-6-2 and appears to represent something narrow gauge. The work is excellent and most of the valve gear is finely stamped “Left, Right, Front” etc. The leaf springs are functional and all axles are equalized. Does anyone out there have any information on this locomotive? This is my first post on this site and I will post pictures when I figure out how.
