I got these centres with a load of other stuff but they don't appear to be part of the set for the machine I bought. Does anybody recognise them please?? They have a flat base and single hold down bolt hole. Height from base to centreline seems to be 4 + 11/32nd inches. (my J & S machine is 4"). The square ends have a reamed 1/2" hole with grub screw in them. There are no obvious markings or numbers anywhere on them. Thanks. Les

Hello Les, Is it just possible that they may be part of a Tool Room Standards bench testing set up,for checking parallellism of machined parts? All the best for now, John.

They could be Clarkson centres from one of their tool and cutter grinders. I base this on the fact that they're nearly exactly twice the size of the ones for my Stent and a Stent is basically a 6" scale version of a Clarkson Mk1...... In fact they are so similar I thought they were Stent until I read the centre height......
