 I think I have to reply to my own message to stay in the same thread. Here is Cardean as she appeared in a double page colour plate in the Railway Magazine the year she was built. I know the scanner and the screen can both distort the colour, but on my screen this looks similar to the printed version. I think this must be a good way of learning what the colour looked like to people at the time. This is Sky Blue, not Prussian Blue. The latter is very very dark and more purplish. |
