How are the tiny holes in the small number 8 to 12 sizes of threaded gas jets made? I have tried to make my own jets by piercing a shim end cap with something like a sewing needle and while it was fairly successful it was also a bit haphazard and unpredictable. This problem arose because the burner location on my T boiler is not a 'standard size' hole and I have had to make my own burner assembly. uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/john1noakes/detail?.dir=/1350re2&.dnm=2bcare2.jpg&.src=phuk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/john1noakes/detail?.dir=/1350re2&.dnm=c454re2.jpg&.src=phThough the combustion gives a clean flame, arriving at this has been a bit of trial and error. I have failed to find any design information on the web suitable for a burner of the type needed for my boiler and wonder if anyone can suggest some references please. John
