I have just uploaded all of my still photographs of the Midlands ME Exhibition to Flickr, here. I have a few videos, too, but cannot currently get my video editing software to work. I have not had time to title/comment them, but anybody who knows what they are of is welcome to add a comment with information :-)

I'm glad that you like the photographs! Which ones were yours, may I ask?

Thanks for the reply. My exhibit was this one,of Trevithick's Catch Me Who Can locomotive. There are links to some more images of the engine before painting,in the 'Citric Acid' thread.

Thanks Paul! The loco attracted quite some attention during the show. The lads from the Kinver and West Midlands Society are also building a model of Mr.Trevithick's 1808 engine, and they had their work on show too. It is hoped to exhibit both models at the Trevithick steam event in Bridgnorth in July 2008,when,hopefully the full size replica currently under construction in the Severn Valley Railway workshops, will be on show too,and hopefully in steam!

Ahh, yes, quite an impressive replica! A lovely model. It's very interesting to see models of the very early history of steam, and the experiments that, ultimately, changed the world economy for ever.
Incidentally, is it a working model?

Hello James, Yes the original was quite a historically significant locomotive,as I found as I was researching its background. Yes the model does work.Getting it to steam isn't easy because of its size, though it works ok on compressed air.
