For anyone interested in SAR there will be a get together at the High Wycombe track on the 9 July. This all started from the people who frequent the Yahoo SAR live steam board at

There should be a few 3.5” and 5” gauge loco’s in action as well as the smaller gauges and some under way projects like mine. Being as it’s the first and as the population of SAR in the UK is not large. If you have anything vaguely African I am sure you would be welcome.
