I’ve been searching for a site like this for a long time.
I’ve just purchased two stationary steam engines.
Both are single cylinder, a vertical marine the othera horizontal mill engine, there are no identification
marks at all. But today whilst surfing the net I found
an identical Mill engine identified as designed by
R W Dunn and castings made by A J Avery in the early1900's.
Can any body help with any information on Messer’s
Dunn and Avery? Both engines are well designed.
