Are there any known problems with the valve gear design on the Reeves 7.25" King designed by Trevor Shortland in 1969-72. A friend is assembling the valve gear on his King chassis and found that fouling of the valve gear is occuring in 3 separate places. Dimensioning of all parts has been verified against the TS drawings. To confirm this problem, the valve gear has been redrawn on paper in various positions and found to foul on the drawing board. Does anybody have Mr Shortland's contact details? It is possible that the drawings were later modified by TS but the vendors are still selling early issues. Any advice would be appreciated and passed on.
