I was browsing eBay, and I came across a most curious contraption: an engine that looked like the Stuart no. 1, but was about half the size: see here. Is this a real Stuart engine of a sort that has not been made for a long time (I always wanted to know what, for example, a Stuart no. 2 was), or is this a mongrel engine, made partly from Stuart spares and partly from fabricated parts or custom castings, designed to be a half-sized replica of the no. 1?

Hi James, could very well be a scaled down model of the NO1...seems to be missing the ''Box bed'' also the valve chest cover does not match up very well with the chest... more of a 10v sized cylinder and flywheel +some other parts look a little 10v ish...height about same as 10v...Rather strange build... All the best for now, John.

I think he's got his cm's and kg's a bit mixed up? 6" tall with a flywheel 3" thick and weighs 788kg? Must be made from depleted uranium.
