Colchester SMEE has it's web site at www.csmee.co.uk/ which gives a good run down on our history and current facilities.

Andy, I would like to put a link on the Colchester SMEE website to the Model Engineering Clearing House. Are you agreeable? Do I need any HTML stuff to do it?Mott

All well and good, but the website does not suggest:
a) location
and:
b) how to join them, as I am Colchester born and bred (and still live there), and require a 3 1/2" gauge rail for gauging tests on the Heilan' Lassie chassis currently under construction (current back garden not big enough).
In 30 yrs of living in Colchester, the Colchester SMEE has never been bought to my attention, and I would have thought that they would be glad of some "young blood" among their numbers.
Yours Faithfully

Lot's of ME clubs do not advertise their location, one reason being that many have been vandalised or broken into in the past. This problem pre-dates the WWW.
However they do have real people with real phone numbers and email addresses usually, who are normally, whatever the club, usually most happy to point you in the right direction.
Regards,
John.

Hi epicyclicgearbox (trips off the tongue don't it?) Trot along to www.csmee.co.uk or ping mott on this forum and much if not all will be revealed. They are in the Stanway/Bottle End area and meet Fridays for hearing about clever things and Sundays for playing trains. Oh and tell 'em my cheque is in the post honest guv.
