Hello fellow engineers, I have just moved to South West Scotland and wondered if anybody knew of any model engineering clubs in the area I have not been successful finding any from the local library but who knows someone out might know of a secret one? I would appreciate any info of course, thank you.

The Strathaven Society is in South Lanarkshire not far off the M74. Their Secretary is Martin Simpson who can be reached on <martin.simpson at blueyonder.co.uk> Their website is mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/strathaven_ms. Best Wishes

I'd like to ask the same question but before I do, Good evening all, I have just joined and have lots of questions to ask, I have just purchased a "Warco" mini lathe, does anyone out there have one? and is there anyone near me in Reading, Berks? Regards, Richie.

Regards, Richie. RSME is a great club, very friendly, very welcoming. 3 1/2" - 5" raised track 5" - 71/4" ground level. It is our club running session this Saturday, from about 11am onwards come down and introduce yourself... I maybe there running my 3 1/2" RUSSELL, but I may go to the Malden visiting clubs day for a run there instead. I am off for major surgery next week so will not be around for a while but I am sure they will look after you.
