Time and Date

Hello All

Is it just me or does the time and date setting on the group seem a bit out?

I am writing this at Manchester Airport 20/03/05 at 13.23 but the 'clock' on the board says 18.28. I don't suppose it really matters although it looks as if we are up all night writing strange and meaningless(ful) emails to each other! Better things to do in the evenings?

It's likely that the Proboards host server is somewhere down the East coast of the USA or further West.

My wife works for a UK Government Agency serviced by IBM. Her email also attracts a US East coast time stamp. It does seem a bit daft tromboning all that way and back to UK but that's the nature of the modern digital super highway.

Perhaps those readers in Auz get to see our stuff a bit sooner. Sort of helps them keep up. ;D
