A new member as recently moved and joined. But very welcoming. I have had a drive around...they trusted me... surprisingly.., varying from an LBSC "Princess Marina" in 3 1/2 guage (a lovely example) to a monster and superb Hunslet on their 7 1/4 track. Lots of fun, and let me run mine, easy, few questions asked. A few hills, one member commented about Shap and big freight loads and was impressed. I smiled and hoped he did not realise it was my bad driving ;D. Website here www.yorksme.org.uk/index.htm for those in the area.
Regards,
John

Hi JL
Nice pics on the website - that Mallard looks very well engineered. I think I saw it at Harrogate last May. Speaking of which, it would be good to meet you and like minds at the show in a couple of months. Hopefully, we'll have our badges and won't need secret handshakes!
Cheers
MM
