Hi Everyone I would like to open an invitation to anyone in the Ontario Canada area to aprticipate in the 25th Annual OMLET competition (efficiency trials). Hi Ferd.
I just happen to be over the pond around that time so will make every effort to drive down and hopefully meet up.
I am arriving on the same saturday as our twinned club, the RHLS are holding their summer Open House weekend. landing and driving straight there.
Have heard about this event from fellow RHLS member Eric Motton.
Look forward to it. By the way I herald from the Staines Society here in good old blighty (?)

Whoops........
Just had her who shall be obeyed point out that in fact the OMLET event is in June (24th) not July. So we will not be over there for that weekend.....sorry.

Jusyt had my copy of the Richmond Hill Live Steamers newsletter, I see in there that this event 'OMLET' has in fact been re-scheduled, due to a shortfall in registration of competitors. It appears it will now take place on September 16th. So I will have missed it anyway.
