Hi all have just finished a modelworks 14xx and it gone together well a bit of fileing and tweaking,.It runs on air with no problems just a small problem with the regulater not shutting completly off, hope to steam it this weekend. kevin

Have steamed my modelworks 14xx this weekend.After a lot of .water and steam out of the chimney away it went. Hope run it on the rails in the next week or so. kevin

Hi Garry I am new to the forum and felt that I must wade in with my personal experience with the 57xx. I realise that this is not actually the thread I should be in regarding the 57xx but as you mentioned it I thought I would reply to your question. I do own a 57xx which has been built without modification from modelworks and I have only just fitted a ring style blower however the original fitment worked resonably. The loco has now done approximatly 10 hrs of running at the RMSE and has frequently pulled upto 4 adults including one of their very heavy passenger carrying trucks. I also own a 14xx hence my reason for looking at this thread. However I have only just acquired it in a somewhat delapidated state and cannot yet comment on build problems. By the way if you wish to see me and my 57xx on one of my many steam days then please go the the Modelworks website and look in the downloads section. Regards
