Hello folks, I am looking for plans to let me build a scale model working [non lethal] artillery gun, something akin to the modern cannon. I have been unable to date to locate any on the web. Anybody able to help? John.

Hi, I have the plans here for a "small" ships cannon that uses a percussion cap to fire a 5/16" ball bearing if you are interested. Regards, John

There has been a couple of articles in ME over the past year on this sort of thing. I think it was a field gun of some sort.
I could look if you are desperate.
Re: previous posting, I thought it fired 16 inch balls WOW! then re read it.
Reallity Check: The only down side of this sort of thing is its illegal to have stuff getting fired out of these things. In ME a while back they confirmed that having a bit of rod with a blind hole down it and a cross drilled hole needs a shotgun licence. (Sorry to have added this)
