Hi Just thought I would start a quick thread to see how progress is going in general with the ModelWorks Britannia. Everything seems to have gone quite on your website John , I put this down to you having to wait for the boiler, have ModelWorks given you an ETA for the boiler? Has anybody received their boiler yet? Jason

Assembled the kits up to the front bogie, main wheels next. I haven't been doing much more than assembling and checking the fit. I'll do more of the cleaning up and painting at a later stage I think, I have other projects on the go!

Hi Jason,
We've been away sailing for the past few days but apart from that I've been updating my website most days - I've been painting the tender recently, described under kit 2. The long delay on the boilers is disappointing - I had a letter from Dean at Modelworks in July saying that the first batch of boilers would be ready by the end of July and the majority of the rest by the end of August, but as far as I'm aware none have yet been delivered. I did see the prototype boiler when I visited Daventry in mid-August to test on compressed air, and it looked very impressive.
Regards, John

Hi John
Sorry, I had still been looking under kit13 with your last entry about getting your engine air tested and the pictures of the boiler!! I did not realise that you had now gone back to kit 2; I am now up to date with your latest work and look forward to reading more in the future
Kind regards
Jason
