Hi,
We all use tools and tooling.....Would it be possible to have a category specifically for these, and the discussion thereof ?
Eg design and construction of Dividing heads, grinders, ball tools, etc etc etc
Just a thought ??

Hi,
There havent been many responses despite 90 odd viewings. Do the board administrators need to vote, or have an overwhelming request from members ?
Perhaps an administrator could reply to this post and ask if people are interested, as well as advise what the process would be.....that is if it is possible to add another category.

Probably a good idea, the general chat is crowded, a forum for tooling might thin it out a bit? Waggy.

Excellent idea.
Should be really useful information for beginners and those "newer" to engineering.

G'day all.
If you are looking for support for a specific category for tools etc then count me in. As has been said It will thin out the general chat. BTW, I am surprised there is not more activity regarding Infernal Combustion and Hot Air.
Regards, Ian

Why have another category? this site is about model making and all related posts should be of interest ! from the frequency of the posts the whole of this site could be under one heading as there is rarely one new thread per week and some of the categories have had no posts in months. Following a heated debate regarding the posting of "adverts" on another forum that I visit , I have opened a forum where you can advertise , whether commercial or not , free of charge. It is my hope that small manufacturers and shed dwellers will post details of their products and services. www.unionsteam.co.uk/forum
